MASFAP Who's Making A Difference Scholarship (The Missouri Association of Student Financial Aid Personnel)
Deadline: November The Missouri Association of Student Financial Aid Personnel (MASFAP) is dedicated to serving students and opening avenues to access the benefits of higher education and advocating for the maintenance of high ethical standards in the financial aid profession. Through early awareness and outreach we strive to help students to achieve and fulfill their dreams of a post- secondary education. We want to know who is making a difference and inspiring you to fulfill your dreams of a post-secondary education! Share your inspiring story with us and be considered for a one-time $1,000 scholarship. Eligibility: Open to any 2023 Graduating Senior from a Missouri High School planning to attend a private or public 2 or 4 year institution, or vocational-technical school in Missouri in fall 2023. Selecting a recipient: We are looking for inspiring stories about students and people who make a difference in the lives of students. (Remember: grammar and spelling are important in any essay contest!) The MASFAP Early Awareness Committee will select the top 5 applications/stories. The top 5 applications/stories will be shared with the MASFAP Membership and will be voted upon at the annual conference in November. Confirmation of enrollment at Missouri private or public 2 or 4 year institution, or vocational-technical school will be requested before payment is made. A check will be issued in the amount of $1,000.00 to the school you are attending in fall 2023 to be applied to your student account. Deadline: December 3rd This scholarship is offered to all seniors. After submitting your application and essay, all applicants will be submitted to the Strafford School Board without names listed. The school board will select one nominee and that nominee will be submitted for the regional competition. Each year the MSBA awards 17 scholarships to Missouri high school seniors. One scholarship winner is selected from each of the 17 MSBA regions of the state. The 16 regional winners are awarded $1,000 scholarships and the statewide winner is awarded $1,500. Jack Kent Cooke Foundation's College ScholarshipAn undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's best four-year colleges and universities. In addition to the monetary award, Cooke scholars receive comprehensive educational advising, significant cohort-based programming, and graduate school funding, as well as access to a thriving network of more than 2,600 fellow Cooke scholars and alumni.

HOratio Alger Association ScholarshipAs one of the nation's largest need-based college scholarship programs in the country, the Horatio Alger Scholarship Programs specifically assist high school students who've faced and overcome great obstacles in their young lives. While many programs are directed primarily to recognizing academic achievement or leadership potential, the Horatio Alger Association seeks students who've exhibited determination, integrity, and perseverance in overcoming adversity, in addition to having critical financial need.
Applications due March 15. James L. and Nellie M. Westlake Scholarship Program
Applicants must be Missouri residents, be graduating seniors of a MO high school planning to enroll full-time at an accredited college, demonstrate financial need with an AGI of $60,000 or less and have at least a 2.5 GPA. Applications due February1. For the 2022-23 school year, Mediacom Communications is again offering 55 $1,000, non-renewable scholarship through its World Class Scholarship Program to seniors in high school where it provides cable, internet and telephone services.
All completed scholarship applications must include an essay on leadership, the applicant's transcript and 2 recommendation forms. Deadline is February of 2023. Applicants must write a 400-500 word essay describing how the lessons you have learned through playing sports have positively impacted you as you pursue a college education. mssdar scholarships
(Missouri state society daughters of the american revolution)
MSSDAR offers the following scholarships. Applicants must be a United States citizen, a Missouri resident and attend a Missouri university/college EXCEPT for the Roberta Casteel Capps Scholarship whose recipients may attend the university/college of their choice. All Scholarships are paid directly to the university/college after their enrollment is verified. All applications are due to the State Scholarship Chair postmarked no later than January 1, 2023.
MSSDAR Scholarship A one-time preferred amount of $2,000.00 awarded to a student pursuing a degree of his/her choice.
IRENE AND LEETA WAGY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP A one-time preferred amount of $1,000.000 awarded to a WOMAN pursuing a degree in education.
DOROTHY POIKERT MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP A one-time preferred amount of $500.00 awarded to a student pursuing a degree in business.
ROBERTA CASTEEL CAPPS AMERICAN HISTORY SCHOLARSHIP A one-time preferred amount of $1,000.00 awarded to a student who will have a concentrated study of a minimum of twenty-four credit hours in American History and Government while in college. This scholarship is available to seniors in high school through juniors in college.
