We endeavor to list opportunities of quality and enrichment as well as educational content that provide enhancement to your high school career, assist in building your high school resume`, and further enable your college and career choices/opportunities.
FREE ACT & SAT Prep Course
A $779 value for $0.
Everyone should have the tools and opportunity to earn their very best score. This online program through Varsity Tutors is a great opportunity to prepare for the ACT.
What the program covers:
Classes are in progress but remain open for enrollment.
SAT and ACT courses include 25 hours of live, online instruction using structured, proprietary curriculum proven to boost test scores

Missouri Leadership seminar

Missouri Leadership Seminar is an unforgettable weekend experience that immerses a select group of high school sophomores in an environment that brings out the leader inside. Student ambassadors are exposed to panels of professional speakers on many of today’s most pressing issues, are encouraged to express their unique opinions in a supportive environment, and learn to lead through team building activities. The MLS experience is free of charge to those ambassador’s selected to attend.

The American Legion Boys State of Missouri is an eight day hands-on experience in the operation and fundamentals of government. Using our democratic government system as a basis, participants of Mo. Boys State construct their own state government and perform the duties of the offices/positions they hold. Participants hold mock campaigns, elections, debates, demonstrations, a Governor's Ball, etc. Citizens of Boys State are eligible to receive college credit and scholarships for participating and successfully completing Boys State. Boys who have completed their junior year in high school are eligible to attend Boys State.

ACT Test Prep Courses
The MSU ACT Test Prep course is designed for students who are dedicated to their personal academic success. This course is ideal for current juniors that may be taking the test for the first time and for those high school students that have already taken the exam but wish to improve their score. There is a $50 discount to MSU Dual Credit students. Email [email protected] or stop by the counselor's office for the discount code.

OTC Career Center
The OTC Career Center is an excellent way for eligible high school students to get a jumpstart on their college education, engage in career exploration, prepare for a community college or four-year university and develop skills needed in today’s global economy and workforce. Specialized programs of study are available to high school juniors and seniors. Students are instructed by many of the area’s top career and technical educators. Students use state-of-the-art equipment and experience hands-on skills learning.
Benefits:
Free college and jumpstarting your college career are two important benefits. The OTC Career Center allows you to experience career exploration so you can determine if the program you choose is right for your long-term career goals. Students also benefit from hands-on training and being in an adult learning environment verses the traditional high school classroom setting. Students who attend their junior and senior years and successfully pass their courses can earn 32-40 credits in their technical program choice. Students may also earn a certificate, depending on their program choice. (See Technical Program Overview.)

OTC is now offering an associates degree in Electrical Distribution Systems at the Lebanon campus.
OTC provides a hands-on, interactive learning experience for students to get high-paying jobs in an industry seeking qualified workers.
Electrical Distribution Systems Associate Degree
Electric utility line technicians work out in the field to restore power to dark places using a variety of high-paying skills. OTC Electrical Distribution Systems students learn how to climb wood pole structures, operate equipment, build and maintain electrical distribution systems. In addition to restoring power, EDS workers also help update existing electric distribution systems and help construct new lines when expansion of the electrical infrastructure is needed.
At OTC, EDS students gain the knowledge they need to succeed, while gaining skills that will get them an apprenticeship after they graduate.
Gain essential industry knowledge with classes taught by experienced, professional instructors at the OTC Lebanon Campus. Learn the basic and advanced skills in classes like Pole Climbing Skills, Commercial Driver License, Transformer Theory, Rubber Gloving and Intro to Live Line Procedures.
